Proper footwear:
If your elopement involves a hike, make sure you bring proper footwear (aka - hiking boots). I don't care how much "tread" you have on your dress boots, you need hiking boots. iF YOU DON'T HAVE ANY AND NEED TO BUY SOME, DON'T FORGET TO BREAK THEM IN BEFORE YOUR BIG DAY! tHAT WAY THEY ARE COMFORTABLE. YOU WON'T GET BLISTERS, AND YOU'RE USED TO THE FEELING OF THEM (tHEY'RE KNOWN FOR BEING A LITTLE.. CLUNKY..) DON'T FORGET PROPER SOCKS TOO! i RECOMMEND HIGH CREW SOCKS SO YOU DON'T GET BLISTERS ON THE BACKS OF YOUR ANKLES.
aTTIRE:
iF YOU WISH TO HIKE IN YOUR WEDDING ATTIRE, THAT'S YOUR DECISION AND WILL MAKE FOR BEAUTIFUL PHOTOS! HOWEVER, IF YOUR DESTINATION HAS A FAIRLY LONG OR STRENUOUS HIKE, i RECOMMEND NOT DOING THAT BECAUSE YOU WANT TO BE COMFORTABLE AND NOT HAVE TO OVER-WORK YOURSELF BY THE TIME YOU GET TO YOUR FINAL LOCATION. iF YOU ARE GOING TO HIKE IN COMFORTABLE CLOTHING AND CHANGE INTO YOUR ATTIRE ONCE YOU GET TO WHERE YOU ARE GOING, DON'T FORGET TO KEEP WEATHER CONDITIONS AND TERRAIN IN MIND WHEN CHOOSING YOUR HIKING OUTFITS. pRIORITIZE COMFORTABILITY AND DRESS FOR THE APPROPRIATE WEATHER.
wEDDING ESSENTIALS:
dON'T FORGET THE WEDDING ESSENTIALS! pACK THEM SAFELY SO THEY WON'T GET RUINED, ESPECIALLY DOCUMENTS, AND PACK ONLY WHAT YOU NEED SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO CARRY MORE THAN NECESSARY.
