Romantic, in-home storytelling session

I love when clients are able to feel comfortable around me, allow themselves to be vulnerable, and show me all the different aspects of what makes them, THEM! Luke & Grace were an absolute dream to work with. They invited me into their home to collaborate on telling their love story.

Both Luke & Grace play instruments, love music, baking, dancing in the middle of the room, and reading. Luke had even been an 'Elvis' impersonator years back so of course we HAD to put a Presley record on! We had quite a bit of communication leading up to their session about these different aspects of their lives. My goal was to capture their story as authentically-to-them as I possibly could! I gave direction when needed but acted as a 'bug on the wall' just vulnerably witnessing the softness of their love they share for one another.

I was so excited to get a tour of their home! A historic house build in the late 1800's. It was BEAUTIFUL! Literally my personal dream home. It set a very clear vibe on who they are as a couple, and what 'vibe' we were going for. I was so happy to document this new chapter in their lives together as well due to the fact that they had JUST bought this forever home only a few months prior! How beautiful these will be to look back on later in life.  ♡

Storytelling is my FAVORITE part of photography. Truly and genuinely getting to tell someone's love story is the most beautiful thing I could ever do and fulfills me in literally every way. I would love to do more sessions where people invite me into their space and allow me to ROMANTICIZE their life. You CAN'T tell me these photos don't look like they're STRAIGHT out of a romance movie scene... It's amazing how beautiful, romantic, and peaceful these photos are when in reality, I was SIMPLY documenting their 'everyday life'.
